For Friday, April 27th, I had agreed with another MSTA member, Roger Magill, to meet at Deal’s Gap and to ride the Tail of the Dragon together. He started out earlier than I did to ride the Cherohala Skyway by himself. Therefore I made my way to Robbinsville, where I stopped for lunch, before continuing to Deal’s Gap, where we met up at the motorcycle resort.
After we rode the Tail of the Dragon, we parted company back at Deal’s Gap and I returned to Robbinsville to take Hwy-143 across the Cherohala Skyway to Tellico Plains and then back to Helen.
