On Tuesday, July 10th, I headed south from the motel in Carlsbad, New Mexico to visit the famous Carlsbad Caverns, located only a short distance south from the town of Carlsbad.

This group of photos includes the approach road to the Carlsbad Caverns, numerous photos taken within the Caverns Visitors Center and in the Caverns, followed by the ride along US-285 to the Texas state line. Unfortunately I neglected to take my camera tripod into the Caverns and some of the photos are out of focus or show motion-blur.
