Narrow one-lane passage along Highway 87 in Custer State Park
The following photos were taken while riding along the Wildlife Loop road in the Custer State Park. Since the bison were mostly grazing the presumably succulent grass, these photos show mostly just their backsides. In some of the photos calves can be seen with their light brown coats of fur.
