Tillamook Air Museum

After reaching the town of Tillamook on August 27th as I rode south along the Oregon Coast on US-101, it was still just early enough that I was able to visit the Tillamook Air Museum for about a half hour and photograph numerous aircraft on display in the huge blimp hangar, which was built during 1940s.

In the following map the red arrows show my route from Astoria south along the Oregon Coast on US-101 until I turned inland to reach my destination for the night at a motel in Corvallis. (Click on the map to enlarge.)

My route along the Oregon Coast to Corvallis

Photos from along the Oregon Coast can be seen here.

The following photos are from the Tillamook Air Museum. Due to the very dim lighting in the hangar, all photos were very underexposed and required adjustment on the computer, resulting in extra graininess in several photos.
